![]() ![]() Reading reviews, many have removed them for painting or repairs like a jammed pellet. The stock must come of to do any of this work, and mine stubbornly will not come off. The triggers are already better than those on my Marine Corps issued M1 and m14's, except for those where the company armorer did some trigger work for me. The hollow, sealing piercing pin prevents that drop of oil from reaching the interior of the rifle. Also, I want to lube the seals and O-rings that can not be done with the usual drop of Pelgun oil on CO2 cartridges. However, I have found on other airguns with plastic action parts that a high quality lube really does improve things. Most of the parts are plastic, which makes them somewhat self lubricating. ![]() I also want to tune (hate that use of the word for airguns because don't really feel it fits) the rifle. Initially I want to paint the stock a better color.my hand guard is actually dark brown, though darker than my M1 and M14 were in RVN. ![]()
